PIPE

Pipe

A pipe is a tubular section or hollow cylinder, usually but not necessarily of circular cross-section, used mainly to convey substances which can flow — liquids and gases, slurries, powders and masses of small solids .

FITTING

Fitting

The recent boom of private entrants in the petrochemical sector have placed a heavy demand on pipe fitting industry. Ongoing projects for construction of distribution lines require a high grade of pneumatic industrial fittings and fluid components. The use of fittings and flanges made from specialty alloy have become a common practice in industry .

FLANGE

Flange

A flange is an external or internal ridge, or rim (lip), for strength, as the flange of an iron beam such as an I-beam or a T-beam; or for attachment to another object, as the flange on the end of a pipe, steam cylinder, etc.

VALVE

Valve

A valve is a device that regulates, directs or controls the flow of a fluid by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways. Valves are technically fittings, but are usually discussed as a separate category. In an open valve, fluid flows in a direction from higher pressure to lower pressure. The word is derived from the Latin valva, the moving part of a door, in turn from volvere, to turn, roll.
